2023 is the year of the 14th Damast Limited Edition: the Ranger 55 Mic. Limited to just 7,000 sequentially numbered pieces worldwide, it features exclusively selected scales crafted from micarta. The blade is expertly crafted from Damasteel®, renowned worldwide for its exceptional resilience. The Damasteel® is made up of 320 layers, expertly arranged in a bold, unique pattern known as "dense twist" with a hardness grade of 60 HRC. Constructed in high-quality micarta, the scales are incredibly smooth and finished in a soft, light-beige color. Damast steel is visually symbolic of craftsmanship and steel artistry that dates back over a thousand years. It has long been renowned for its durability and coveted for this globally. The multiple folding and welding steps involved in its intricate manufacturing process require acute skill. It's typified and set apart by its standout finish, with careful grinding, polishing and etching techniques used to create the unique and characteristic pattern.
