Description
The Multi Purpose Chef Knife No. 118 is ideal for cutting, slicing thinly, chopping and dicing. The 3mm- thick blade remains rigid and stable when cutting. A continuous cutting edge that frees up the heel of the blade to make it easier to sharpen. Curved cutting edge allows chopping with a seesaw movement. The Parallele Style: simple and efficient.
Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, the beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
These kitchen knives from the Parallèle-series are equipped with a wooden handle which is protected by a clear coating. Because of the coating, and of course the stainless X50CrMoV15 steel, they can go into the dishwasher. However, we always prefer to wash them by hand. There are different models which you can use for all kinds of work in the kitchen. The knives from the Opinel Parallèle-series are good value for money. Just like the regular Opinel knives, these kitchen knives can have their small imperfections in the finish here and there, but this is what gives them character.
