The knives use the Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel, so they do not require any special care, which is ideal for use in the garden and the exposure to elements. This steel has a carbon content of at least 0.40% giving it an excellent cutting edge.
The Pruning Knife
… has a curved blade bevelled on both sides making it a super knife for general pruning, trimming and grafting. The knife is comfortably contoured to fit the hand, and is also great for picking grapes.
Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, our beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterised by the presence of numerous small, dark dashes.
