His philosophy: ‘Good sense, the feeling of comfort when gripped, the convenience of being able to put it in your pocket’. Descendants of Joseph Opinel still own the company today.

The set contains the versatile paring knife, the indispensable serrated knife, very efficient especially for cutting tomatoes, the peeling knife, perfect to prepare smoothly and preserve vitamins from young vegetables and organic vegetables, and finally the traditional peeler ultra efficient.

Blade:  Stainless steel. Stainless steel does not require any special maintenance.

Handle: Coming from French forests, this Beech wood gives a natural feel to these pieces. The handle is varnished to be protected against moisture and dirt.

Care: Contains wood, not recommended for dishwasher. Run warm water on the blade and wipe with a sponge and washing-up liquid.

Rinse the blade with warm water while taking care not to soak the wooden handle. Do not immerse your knife in water as this could warp the wooden handle.
