They have been hand sharpened to a 15° angle, which allows for effortless slicing and portion control. The unique handle design distinguishes I.O.Shen from any other knife. The full tang construction of these knives provides excellent strength, balance and precision control.

The I.O.Shen Nakiri Knife is also known as the Chinese Broad Blade Shredder or a Vegetable Knife. This is the perfect knife for shredding! An absolute joy to use on cabbage, onions, lettuce but can equally be used on root vegetables. The broad blade makes light work of even the toughest of vegetables.

An iconic blade – this is the only knife in the I.O.Shen family which has a practically straight cutting edge.

It is also perfect for dicing and chopping.
