Description

Our Sloyd Knife comes razor sharp and ready for use. Much like traditionally-designed Swedish tools, this carving knife is a durable, well-made tool, ideal for spoon carving, whittling, marking, and general woodworking and handicrafts.

Its versatility allows you to use it for a wide range of wood carving projects from detail work to roughing. Use it to shave bark or use its fine tip for eyes, noses, mouths, hair, facial details, and accent parts on caricatures and animals.

The 2-7/8″ blade is thick along its spine and the core is made of high-carbon steel which results in a very hard edge for superior edge retention. For added strength, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle.

There’s no flex in the blade – which makes it sturdy and extremely reliable. The rigidness and size of the blade allows for deep cuts and markings.

The handle is made of beautifully conditioned cherry hardwood and each one comes with a custom, 100% leather sheath featuring a built-in belt clip. The sheath ensures long-lasting blade protection and makes for easy transport.
